Danny Lee is a prominent sculptor based in Hong Kong, renowned for his innovative approach that draws inspiration from Chinese ink art. His acclaimed “Landscape Series” explores the duality between nature and urban environments, reflecting his deep humanistic concerns. Each work embodies the introspective qualities of Eastern aesthetics while infusing a playful spirit, resulting in a distinctive artistic language. Lee’s sculptures engage in a dynamic dialogue with their surroundings, merging traditional and contemporary elements. This integration not only highlights the relationship between art and environment but also invites viewers to reconsider their connections to both. 

He has been commissioned to create public sculpture art by various organizations, engaging in different dialogues. His works have been permenant installations at locations such as Hong Kong International Airport, MTR Nam Cheong Station, MTR Kowloon Station, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, the equestrian venue torch for the Olympics, City Art Square, and Taikoo Place. Lee has served as the founding president of Hong Kong Sculpture Creation Society and the president of Hong Kong Visual Arts Association. In 2026, he was Shortlisted for Sovereign Asian Art Prize.
