Silvester Mok is a Hong Kong ceramics artist who works mainly with 3D printed ceramics. He graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2021 with a major in ceramic art. After graduation, he exhibited in Bachelor of Arts in Art graduation exhibition jointly organised by Hong Kong Art School (HKAS) and RMIT, as well as the 17th HKAS Fine Art Department Graduation Exhibition, where he was awarded the Fresh Trend Art Award. He is a current member of Contemporary Ceramic Society Hong Kong and a PhD student at City University of Hong Kong.

Mok is captivated by the visually stunning appearance of 3D printed ceramics, mesmerized by the magic of how clay being extruded layer by layer, gradually forming a larger structure. Drawing inspirations from intricate fractal patterns in the nature, he creates highly detailed digital models that are materilised into fired stoneware through a 3D clay printer. This process allows him to explore the evolving role of ceramists in the digital realm and the potential of digital ceramics.
