Kong received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art in 2017 at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (co-presented with Hong Kong Art School). In 2020, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Literary Studies at Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Her artistic practice centers on mixed media—primarily acrylic and colored pencil—applied to paper and wood panels. Her works inhabit a surreal space between literature and lived experience, where everyday life becomes a stage for role-play. Among the many roles she explores, the painter remains her most cherished. Over the past decade, she has held 24 solo and group exhibitions in Hong Kong, Spain, and Japan, and participated in workshops and artist residencies in Rome, Spain, and Finland. Awards received include MA in English (Literary Studies) Academic Excellence Award, Chinese University of Hong Kong; First Prize, Peanuts Cover Art contest; Reaching Out Award, Education Bureau, HKSAR.
Deeply passionate about both visual art and literature, her poetry has appeared in Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine. She has created commissioned works for Bleak House Books, Hong Kong Film Critics Society, and Chinese University of Hong Kong Press. Her works are collected by Bleak House Books and private collectors.
